The Pagoda is a custom-built log home that would be perfect for your next vacation or business retreat. This beautiful home has a full kitchen, a large dining area, large living room and extensive outdoor deck. The house is outfitted with high-speed wireless internet access. When it's time for bed, guests can stay in the two upstairs loft bedrooms which feature a queen size bed on one floor and two twin beds on the top floor. The cherry on top of this fantastic vacation home is a small upper loft that looks out over the canopy of the lush forest and mountain ranges surrounding Haines, Alaska. When the sun sets, watch the northern lights flicker in the heavens above from the top floor. Climb up there for some quiet time in the morning, or unfurl your sleeping bag and rest gazing out at the best view around. The Pagoda isn't just a place to eat and sleep; it's a work of art. Local attractions include guided rafting tours, an animal preserve, extensive hiking trails (novice to advanced), abundant fishing (and chartered fishing as well), glacier viewing and wildlife viewing. The largest bald eagle preserve in the world is a short drive up the highway from this cabin and you can see grizzly bears catching salmon a nice 10 mile drive up the river (far enough away). Many of the safer activities are within walking distance.
