halibut house

pagoda buildingThe Halibut House is the place to host your next business retreat or family reunion. Want to get back to nature, but need to stay connected to the real world? The Halibut House has high speed wireless internet access, two phone lines, and a dining room area that will accommodate upwards of 15 people and their computers. When dinner time comes clear off the dining room table and when the sun is shining (which is often) even more can spill out onto the deck area which also has a large dining table. The kitchen features two industrial ovens, a stove, large triple refrigerator, pantry and our most recent addition, a commercial espresso machine. Upstairs are two large common sleeping areas, with 8 twin beds and a master bedroom with a queen size bed. There is sitting area, a washer and dryer, large grill, three showers (two outside), and an LCD projector and screen. We can also provide chef service at this house. Local attractions include guided rafting tours, an animal preserve, extensive hiking trails (novice to advanced), abundant fishing (and chartered fishing as well), glacier viewing and wildlife viewing. The largest bald eagle preserve in the world is a short drive up the highway from this cabin and you can see grizzly bears catching salmon a nice 10 mile drive up the river (far enough away). Many of the safer activities are within walking distance.
